Tournament Overview
Division 40+, 50+: March 14 to 16, 2025 Division 60+: March 7 to 9, 2025 Division 70+: March 10 to 13, 2025
Each player will need to fill out a registration form. Use the link(s) below to register yourself for the tournament. You will select your team on the registration form. If your team does not show up, it's because the team name is not yet registered. The registration deadline is February 21.
Tournament Details and Rules
3 games guaranteed, 4 games maximum.
3x12 minute stop time periods.
Souvenirs and Championship Trophy.
Post game beverage.
Qualified Referees.
Divisions of 40+, 50+, 60+, and 70+.
Goalies can be 5 years younger than the designated age.
We highly recommended that you wear a cage or half shield.
No body contact. If you clearly body check another player, your team will be penalized and you are out for the remainder of that game.
Slapshots are allowed except for 70+ division.
2 minute warmup (be on time)
30 seconds between periods
No timeouts
Blueline icing
In any game, once you are down by 6 goals we are running the clock. If you score and it goes to 5 goal differential, then we go back to stop time.
In a goals for & against tie breaker we don’t use more than 4 goals differential.
3 Penalties in the same game and you are out for the remainder of that game.
If you fight you are penalized and are out for the remainder of the tournament.
Each team gets 2 points for a win.
Each team gets 1 point for a tie.
If teams are tied after round robin play, we will determined positions by: 1. head to head 2. penalty infractions 3. goals for & against 4. Coin flip.
If there is a tie in final game after regulation play, we will play a 4x4 sudden death overtime for 2 minutes.
If the teams are tied after the 4x4 sudden death, we will go to a 3 man shoot out. If no one scores, the teams will continue to take turns until someone scores using a different player.
4 Team Division plays 3 game round robin with top two teams playing in championship game.
5 Team Division plays 4 game round robin. Team with most points is the Champion.
Tournament Fee
All payments are in US funds. Team Managers are responsible to make these payments and asked to forward the registration link to their team members. Please make final payment by February 10. Payment Schedule Payment signifies your group acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Method of Payment Payments will be accepted by Visa, Master Card, or American Express, or checks.
Payment Payment due by February 10.
Cancellation Policies No refunds.
Insurance Policies Each player is required to sign an assumption of risk form before playing their first tournament game. Ft. Myers Olde Timers Hockey does not provide any Insurance coverage.
This contract shall be construed in acceptance with the laws of Florida.
Accommodations
Our organization has teamed up with a local non-profit, Lee County Sports Housing, to offer discounted hotel accommodations for this event. A team of local reservation specialists will share their knowledge of each property's amenities; also the best beaches, attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Reservation specialists are available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST by calling (239) 541-1800.
